Located in a secluded alpine setting between the Remarkables and Coronet Peak mountains of Queenstown, New Zealand, this retreat is a contemporary mountain home within a few minutes’ drive of several world class ski slopes and golf courses and the stylish restaurants and boutiques of Queenstown and Arrowtown.

Designed by renowned architect Michael Wyatt and constructed with great sensitivity to the surrounding natural environment, Coronet Peak Mountain Retreat was completed in 2009.  The property sits in more than 200 acres of rolling parkland, has stunning 360 degree views and offers kilometers of walking trails for the outdoor enthusiast.

Winner of the 2010 House of the Year competition for the Southern Region, the home is open and pacious, sleeping up to 10 guests in a relaxed ambience. There are four double master bedrooms (each with an en-suite, and magnificent views), a gourmet kitchen, large living and dining areas, indoor-outdoor living, quality audio and home theatre systems and an array of facilities that enable guests to enjoy both indoor and outdoor pursuits. 

The house sleeps 8 guests in supreme comfort with three king size double beds and two single beds in four large bedrooms, each with en-suite. It can easily handle 10 guests with the use of the two roll out beds that are available on site. This home is located on a private, elevated plateau directly opposite Coronet Peak. North Ridge is just 10 minutes by car from Queenstown and Arrowtown and the Coronet Peak ski field. Four wheel drives are recommended in winter.
