Hiatt Rigger Retreat in Hilton Head is a wonderful, cottage style home in the 2nd row homes in Palmetto Dunes. The home was designed by architect Thomas Hiatt. The spacious home features heart pine floors, designer décor, and high quality furnishings that give the home a classic, yet open personality ideal for entertaining, or just relaxing.

Hiatt Rigger Retreat has a desirable “reverse” floor plan that places the formal dining area and living room on the upper floor. You can prepare your meals in a large gourmet kitchen and dine above the palms with glimpses of the Atlantic Ocean. The kitchen features top of the line stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar and an eating area. The large dining room table seats 10 people and sliding doors open to a large balcony with patio furniture, a grille, and glimpses of the ocean. The spacious living room has a TV with DVD/CD, comfortable furniture and large windows with commanding views of the neighborhood. This upper floor also has 2 master bedrooms, each with king size beds, luxurious baths and whirlpools.

Take the elevator or open stairway down to the first floor. This floor has a large family room with a large screen entertainment center with CD/DVD. There are 4 large bedrooms with private baths on this level. One of the 4 bedrooms has a king sized bed, the second has a queen bed, the third has 2 twin beds, and the fourth has 2 queen beds. The central family room has sliding doors that open to a large covered lanai, or step out the other side of the family room to your large secluded 14 X 30 pool, a large spa, spacious deck with patio furniture, and a Tech Grille. Walk about 100 steps down the beach path to the nicest private beach on the island.
