Hacienda la Cresta is a privately owned hilltop estate rising from the Pacific coastline in the southern region of Costa Rica. It is located less than a mile from Dominical, the coastal highway and nearby beaches. The estate sits upon 60 acres of rainforest mountain reserve where toucans, monkeys and other jungle habitat are frequently seen. The Hacienda offers breathtaking views of the Pacific and beautiful mountain views to the east. Hacienda la Cresta provides ultimate luxury and beauty in a dramatic yet secure location –comparable to a small resort. We strive for total comfort and privacy with a security guard, two entrance gates and helipad.

The main house, Casa la Cresta is an 11,000 SF Spanish Colonial home featuring an open-air courtyard. In the backyard area there is 10,000 SF of gardens, 65' infinity pool and other structures. There are 2 outdoor eating areas, balconies and verandas to relax and enjoy the ocean views and breezes.

We have 6 bedrooms that sleep 12 plus an adjoining twin bedroom, perfect for a nanny or child. The second level of the main house offers a large, beautifully appointed Hacienda master suite with an expansive ocean views, private veranda, marble bathroom, double vanities, jetted tub and large walk in closet. There are two king guest suites and one queen bedroom located on the second level courtyard. The nearby 2 level guesthouse has upper and lower queen bedrooms. All bedrooms have ocean and partial ocean views. The main level of the casa features a large living room with an ocean view veranda, and a 12-seat formal dining room. The professional chef's kitchen and large pantry is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and appliances. Wolf range, Sub Zero, 2 ovens, and spare refrigerator. Other amenities include wireless Internet, 4 satellite televisions and a DVD player in the living room, I-pod ready stereo with Boise speakers throughout the property, 4 person elevator, billiard room, gas grill, wood fired pizza oven, grass covered rancho with hammocks, wet bar and eating table. Ping Pong court, fitness room with a treadmill, weight bench and rowing, We have private office with printer/scanner. 'Cinema Paraiso' is a 14 seat Italian style movie theatre with a bar and lobby. 15’ wide screen, HD projector, Dolby Digital 7.1 THX audio, and 375 DVDs available.

We are staffed with on-site maids, security guard, groundskeeper, and on-site property manager to assist in booking activities, area directions or any requests or information.

Dominical and the southern zone area are known for its unspoiled beauty and one of the greenest, low-impact areas of Costa Rica. Dominical beach is known for world-class surfing and competitions. The town itself is small and rustic with a laid-back attitude. There are many activities to enjoy such as whitewater rafting, horseback riding, waterfalls, deep sea fishing, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, boogie boarding and beach walking. The canopy tour zip line through the jungle is always a highlight in Costa Rica. Bars, fine dining and casual eating options nearby.
