Traditional Siena country villa, whose original structure is dated 16th century, today entirely restored. The Villa, located in a typical contest is surrounded by vineyards and woods, in a position overlooking Siena countryside. During your stay in the villa you will enjoy an absolute quiet and admire landscapes having unique and inimitable colors. Developed on ground floor and first floor (250 sqm each) it can be used as a sole unit or as two-family unit. Each floor includes an entertainment lounge with huge fireplace, dining room and roomy, modern dinette kitchen, three double rooms with private bathroom; one single bedroom with independent entrance and bathroom for service staff.

On the ground floor there is a fully equiped kitchen with all modern comfort and next to it a dining room.

The living room with big fireplace is furbished with prestigious Tuscan antiques. There are also 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower and the third one features an ensuite bathroom with whirlpool tub. Just off the kitchen you will access the backyard with a generous beautifully furnished patio where you may enjoy outdoor dinners and hearty BBQ.

On the first floor you will find a second living room and another fully equipped kitchen. On this floor you will also find 3 bedrooms: 1 double bedroom has a bathroom ensuite with a whirlpool tub, another double has an ensuite bathroom with shower. The third one has a queen size bed with ensuite bathroom with shower.

Every bedroom on this floor has a view of the garden with its contemporary sculptures and the vineyards and hills around.

There is also a loggia/ terrace where you may enjoy breakfast in the morning or an aperitif in the late afternoon, surrounded by the aromatic fragrance of the Cypress trees in front of it. The villa is completely air-conditioned for your comfort.

Off the backyard, you will access the 100 square meter indoor wellness area. Its huge French windows provide plenty of natural lighting. The main features are our fitness equipment and a Turkish steam bath.

In the garden you will find a large private outdoor swimming pool with whirlpool spa. The furnished gazebo facing the double pool affords our guests the opportunity to spend the entire day outside in the fragrant open air. Sun worshippers will find comfy lounge chairs poolside.

Villa Montalcino is located in Montalcino, the heart of the Orcia Valley area, a beautiful clay hills landscape which is an ideal starting point to discover the southern part of Tuscany.

The guesthouse is located close to the beautiful abbey of Sant’Antimo, from which you can admire a breathtaking view of the whole territory. Another nearby village is San Giovanni d’Asso with its ‘Museo del Tartufo’ and the ‘Bosco della Ragnaia’ sculpture garden.

In the immediate surroundings of Villa Montalcino one can find several famous cultural and historical places of interest. Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano and even Siena are all within half an hour drive.
