The Château les Crostes is situated in the middle of a forest area located 40 minutes by car from St. Tropez and the Mediterranean coast and only 10 minutes from the charming medieval town of Lorgues. The château dates back to the 17th century and is surrounded by a spacious garden, an olive grove, and the rolling vineyards. Inside the house there are 9 rooms generously spaced over 700 square meters. The luxuriously furnished Château les Crostes is available for rent upon request all year around.

The accommodations in the château include a piano for music enthusiasts that makes for lively parties, a library that offers a quiet and calm retreat, and two large living rooms, each with a fireplace, that provide elegant gathering spaces. The spacious château also offers a TV area with a flat screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a gym, a sauna, and a billiards room. Outdoors there is a helicopter landing pad, an open barbecue pit, a spacious pool terrace with chaise longues and umbrellas surrounding a large heated pool, a tennis court, a pétanque square, and much more.

Area Information

Lorgues is a wonderful Medieval Town only 40 minute to St. Tropez. This beautiful location offers visitors both the day trip ideas of wineries, which can be had here at the Chateau owned by a true Prince, to the area surrounding where you can find home grown wineries with only a few hundred bottles or larger wineries with tasting areas. Most of the area winery owners are happy to give you a tour during daytime hours, some may charge a fee for this others are free.

As well as the winery there are those things for the more adventurous of us like zip-lining though the treetops in the forest and experiencing some wonderful Xtreme sport courses where you can spend the day climbing trees and feeling like a true explorer and adventurer.
