Enjoying an enviable lakefront position close to the resort town of Bellagio and situated in the quaint charming town of Lezzeno this detached villa boasts modern day comforts in fine elegant setting.

The double fronted villa can be approached from either road or by boat and is situated in a sunny garden with gravel paths leading to beautiful vistas and lawns.

The villa itself is a splendid and well proportioned period property with charming balconies and pastel coloured shutters. The property has recently undergone a modern yet sympathetic refurbishment and internally offers spacious and well proportioned rooms furnished with a blend of modern and traditional. To the ground floor a pretty lake view sitting room is situated with a TV and HIFI player providing a lovely place to relax with guests. A modern fully fitted kitchen with direct lake views is situated along from the living room and features all the desired self catering appliances. A charming breakfast area is ideal for informal mornings.

A pretty separate dining room furnished with fine period pieces can also be enjoyed by guests, and with doors leading out onto a lakefront veranda, guests can also enjoy a picturesque setting for aperitifs and memorable alfresco dinner parties!

The two upper floors comprise spacious and bright sleeping accommodation with three double bedrooms and two twin single bedrooms. One of the principal double bedrooms boasts lake views and balcony access. Both twin bedrooms boast lake view balconies. All bedrooms are fully furnished to a comfortable modern standard with wooden flooring and are equipped with wardrobes and writing desks.

The villa also features two modern bathrooms which are spacious and fully equipped, one with a shower and the principal one with a walk-in shower, whirlpool bath and a his and hers vanity area.

In the villa gardens guests will find a gravel parking area for cars.

A sunny shingle beach can be accessed from the gardens and provides a lovely spot for lake swimming and sunbathing.

The famous resort town of Bellagio is ideally situated just a 12 minute drive away and is a picturesque town with lake view cafes, restaurants and a vibrant town centre set along the steep ancient cobbled streets which are lined with visitor shops, fine jewellers and boutique designer shops. Villa Melzi can be reached by foot along the delightful promenade and offers beautiful lakefront gardens which are open to the public.

There is a frequent car and passenger ferry service which operates between the golden triangle towns of Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna & Cadenabbia.

The property is in walking distance from the local shops (the grocery shop is just 100 mt from the Villa’s gate).
