This beautiful villa has been in the same family for as long as people can remember. In the old times it was part of a great estate with the houses for farmers hidden neatly behind it. This style of estate is typical lucchese country style which still exists today and can be seen all around the area.

The villa has been decorated using traditional old materials including lucca silk fabrics for the house decoration.

The house is fully restored and equiped with modern appliances, however it maintains the traditional character of a period villa, with terracotta floor and frescoe rooms.

To add to the feel of this period villa, antique furniture together with beautiful upholstery and decoration make the villa feel a special place to stay indeed. Villa La Chiusa is located on the level countryside in Lucca outskirts. It has parts dating back to the 17th and 18th century. Large lovely Italian garden full of flowers, fruit trees, and old lemon pots. All the garden is surrounded by an old garden-wall keeping it nicely secluded from the outside world.

The owner is a creative lady who, for several years, has been involved in silk textile manufacturing and in house deecoration. She recently fully restored the house, equipping it with all the modern appliances, but yet maintaining the traditional charm of a typical period villa, with terracotta tiled floors, and frescoed rooms. Antique precious furniture and refined upholstery and decoration make the villa elegant and charming, a special stay for art lovers.
