Built over three floors, this old mill has been meticulously renovated preserving many original features such as splendid vaulted ceilings and flagstone floors, which have been brought up to date with modern furnishings and fittings. Its thick stone walls help keep the interior pleasantly cool during the summer months whilst retaining the heat during winter. Being just over 2 miles from the coast, you can often feel a lovely sea breeze which further enhances the scent of jasmine and of other typical Mediterranean shrubs from the garden. Olive groves are the natural backdrop to this substantial property where guests can enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Ligurian countryside, yet within a short drive of Levanto and its renowned beach.

Enjoy Italy’s slow pace of life whilst strolling along Levanto's elegant promenade in search for an ice cream parlour or a beachfront restaurant serving local specialities, including, of course, fresh sea food and excellent DOC wines from the nearby hills. Mingle with the locals and tourists alike as you browse for souvenirs among the colourful stalls of Levanto’s weekly market or hop on a ferry (or take the scenic railway line) to reach the other coastal villages scattered along the most stunning stretch of coast in Northern Italy. Perhaps less famous than the picturesque Cinque Terre's fishing villages, Portovenere, Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, Chiavari and Rapallo are amongst the gems of the Ligurian Riviera and are all well worth a visit.
