Villa Ferranesi is an old farm, located in the heart of Tuscany near Asciano.

The farm was reconstructed in the original rural Tuscan style found in the ”Crete Senesi” area, and offers the opportunity to spend dream holidays. The luxurious interior of minimalist architecture perfectly matches the simplicity of the old Tuscan farm style.

La Vita È Bella

La vita è bella is the main part of this ancient Tuscan farm, suitable for up to eight people. On the ground floor, you can find a large dining room, a living room, an exhaustively equipped kitchen, a library and a multi media collection. On the first floor there are four bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom. There is a large covered terrace. The total surface is 300 m².

La Strada

This smaller house is perfect for four to five people and has two bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a well accommodated kitchen connected to the dining room and a large living room, as well as a covered terrace and own private garden. The total surface is 130 m².

La Dolce Vita

This unit, located on the first floor, is ideal for two to three people. It has a small but well equipped kitchen integrated in the living room, a double bedroom and a sitting area which can be converted in a single room. There are two separate bathrooms, and a nice, small covered terrace with private pergola as well on the ground floor. The total surface is 60 m².

This unit, located on the ground floor, is ideal for two to three people. Una Giornata Particolare

This flat is perfect for two people. It is located on the first floor and offers a splendid view towards Pienza. It is equipped with a small kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. The surface is 30 m².

Next to the beauty and the charm of the towns and the landscapes, the Tuscan region is renowned for its excellent wine production. Ferranesi is ideally located within the triangle formed by the three best wine districts in Tuscany: the ‘Chianti Classico’, the ‘Brunello di Montalcino’ and the ‘Vino Nobile di Montepulciano’. We will be happy to organize customized wine visits in the best boutique wineries of these area. Or should you wish to learn more about the local food, we can arrange personal cooking classes. If you just want to enjoy Tuscan lifestyle, we can make you reservations in the finest restaurants in the area.

The Crete Senesi is a great region for cycling. We can help you with bike renting (road bike, mountain bike or electric) or even organizing your complete trip with a guide. Special breakfast or lunch can be provided. In the surroundings there are lots of other possible activities: hiking, horseback riding, ballooning, vespa or motorbike tours…we can guide you with the practical arrangements of any of these.

Every year in May, the 1000 miglia classic car race is passing nearby. We then organise a week with guided tours and garantuee you best views on the race…

In spring and autumn we can organize private yoga sessions for groups until 20 people. Massages and beauty treatments can also be provided on spot. The hot springs from Rapolano Terme and Bagno Vignoni are only half an hour drive away.

The guesthouse is located outside Asciano, close to the beautiful abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore and the charming hill top village of Chiusure, from which you can admire a breathtaking view of the whole territory. Another nearby village is San Giovanni d’Asso with its ‘Museo del Tartufo’ and the ‘Bosco della Ragnaia’ sculpture garden.

In the immediate surroundings of Villa Ferranesi one can find several famous cultural and historical places of interest. Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano and even Siena are all within half an hour drive.

Ten years ago we started doing our vespa tours and lots of you became very enthusiastic about this way of exploring Tuscany.

From this year on, we would like to introduce you to a new, relaxing, but still sporty and ‘slow’ way to explore the countryside around.

A trained ambiental bicycle guide will take you on some day tours, discovering tuscans ‘white roads’ and with these the hidden gems where you normally don’t arrive as a tourist.

We will show you small hamlets, breath taking views, organize an originally picknick…all in one. Should you prefer to go out on your own, no problem neither, we provide your E-bike, equipment and roadbook with the nicest tours. Does your partner prefer to go in normal bicycle… we get that one for you as well.

Can you do this: yes! You don’t need a special training or extreme condition, as your electric bike is there to help you when it is going steep or getting difficult; so anybody with a normal condition can participate at these magnificent discoveries.
