The Villa Dama is a faboulous new luxury Villa in Sorrento Italy off of the Italian Coast. From the 1983 was a noble private villa owned by the a very upscale family and completely renovated in 2010. Now a beautiful Boutique Luxury Villa rented entirely or by the room during certain times of the year. The 18th century villa boasts attention to every detail, with furniture and fittings carefully chosen to combine Art Nouveau style with twenty first century chic. Surrounded by a lush green gardens and ocean as far as one can see, with a promenade flanked by many old palm trees and all kind of plantations wherever your look; this is simply a small corner of paradise where people can relax, with the beach just minutes away by foot and it's in the quiet residential town of Sant’Agnello on the doorstep. A short walk will take you into the heart of Sorrento...

Along the park, some small art exhibitions will take place, set in a real open space gallery. Special features inside the Villa include some fine paintings, and elegant furniture, much of it made in the famous inlaid wood style by craftsmen from Sorrento. Beautiful glass handeliers from Murano light up the cool and spacious public areas, and also highlight not just the floors with their original ceramic Vietri tiles, but also an unusual collection of old clay pots.

A hearty buffet breakfast is served either outside on the terrace, or if you prefer, in the light and airy breakfast room where its panoramic windows onto the garden will allow you to stay in touch with nature. The Rooms

Each room has: 1 King bed (with sheets and pillowcases) 180cm x 200cm or 2 single beds, air conditioning, heating, magnifying mirror, hair dryer, toilet paper, towels, shampoo, bubble bath and soap, (non smoking rooms).

Ground floor: living room with SKY TV LCD, kitchen and 4,000 square meters garden.

First floor: 1 bedroom of 21 sqm with 3 large windows overlooking the garden and sea, bathroom with shower + 1 bedroom of 32 sqm with balcony and terrace with garden view, bathroom with shower + 1 bedroom of 42 sqm with 2 terraces and 1 window with garden view, bathroom with bathtub.

Second floor: 1 bedroom of 21 sqm with 3 large windows with sea view, bathroom with shower + 1 bedroom of 32 sqm with balcony and window overlooking the garden, bathroom with shower + 1 bedroom of 42 sqm with 1 balcony and 2 windows with garden view, bathroom with bathtub and 2 sinks.

Third floor:1 bedroom of 20 sqm with 100 sqm terrace with outdoor shower, fantastic sea views, sun beds, bathroom with shower.

Ground floor Dependance: 2 bedroom of 25 sqm. Each room has 2 patiodoors, bathroom with shower, garden with table, chairs, sun beds and outdoor shower.

Outdoors

The Intimate Swimming pool and the Jacuzzi at the Boutique Villa are surrounded by greenery. Alongside the pool is a shower, and also a comfortable green terrace on which you can stretch out and top up your sun tan as you relax and soak up the tranquility. A perfect place to enjoy a snack, an aperitif – or even a herb tea.

Set at the end of a colonnade of stately palms, the Villa Dama is surrounded by one of the most beautiful parks in the area. This well established garden of approximately 4,000 square metres contains palm trees, groves of chicas, camellias and succulents, and citrus trees heavy with lemons, oranges and grapefruits. Not surprisingly it attracts a variety of birds too – collared doves strut across the lawn, sparrows twitter in the trees.

The Lovely park of the Boutique Hotel has all the old family passion and immediately forward the enveloping sensation of a warm welcome. From time to time the park is home to the exclusive Open Sky Art Gallery which holds exhibitions with an emphasis on photography, paintings, sculpture, and the local crafts so famous around the world. There is also a traditional wood burning oven for pizzas, barbecue facilities, and a covered pavilion area of 120 square metres is available for a variety of events.

Location

Immersed in a lush green oasis of 4,000 square metres, the Villa is perfect when you have a few days to spend simply relaxing. In fact it may be hard to tear yourself away from the tranquility of the garden with its palm and citrus groves, camellia trees and cacti. The Villa is just 50 meters from the beach.

However, a visit to Sorrento is a must, with all its shops, restaurants, galleries and nightlife being just 1km away. The Villa’s location is also ideal for taking excursions to the many famous and picturesque places that the peninsular offers: the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida... the beauty of the Amalfi coast, sites of historical interest such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, and last but not least, the beautiful city of Naples.

End your day by taking a few steps from the Villa to enjoy a wonderful view of the peninsula at sunset at The Belvedere Marinella, a walk to the beach that was so dear to Sophia Loren.

Weddings on the Amalfi

The beautiful Mediterranean style garden of the Villa covers approximately 4,000 square metres which is ample space for a wide variety of events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and more. There is also a covered gazebo of 120 square metres under which can be set up tables and chairs, as needed. Careful organisation with attention to every detail, excellent service, food prepared in the local style and to the highest standard - all these help guarantee that your event will be a unique and unforgettable experience.
