This is a stunning property with spacious accommodation divided between two main villas. Exquisitely designed in a Mediterranean style with warm, rich colours, vaulted ceilings, marble statues and grand fireplaces this property offers a feeling of opulence whilst still being a comfortable and inviting environment for easy living both inside and out. The interiors are both tastefully furnished but contrasting in style; the larger villa with a blend of Italian antique and country furniture and elegant soft fabrics, the smaller villa more modern with contemporary furnishings. They are set in a horseshoe around a wonderful courtyard terrace with a long, covered outdoor dining & living area overlooking the pool and gardens, perfect for dining al-fresco. Further large terraces surrounding the pool are perfect for sunbathing and relaxing.

Every day at Perla Nera will be packed with outdoor activities and things to do making the most of the state-of-the-art, private sports facilities; a floodlit tennis court, astro-turf soccer pitch, sandy beach-volleyball court complete with viewing gallery and a basketball practice court. There are even 'team' changing rooms attached to a guest cottage with additional accommodation ideal for staff, teenagers, or perhaps the umpire or referee! Take a gentle stroll along the tree-lined pathways to fully appreciate the splendid garden featuring statues, fountains, a lily pond and a variety of Mediterranean and exotic plants.

Within a ten-minute drive is the elegant baroque city of Lecce boasting an incredibly rich artistic and cultural heritage spanning over two millennia. Today the city hosts cultural events, live concerts, gastronomic fayres and local markets throughout the summer. Here you can also find some of the finest restaurants and designer shops. As if this wasn't enough to fill your days, the exclusive sandy beach clubs at Le Cesine nature reserve on the Adriatic sea are only 15 miles away, as is Porto Cesareo on the Ionic coast.

Please note: The villa has a hi-tech security system and there is a trained guard dog living in the grounds. He will be kept elsewhere during rentals unless you request this additional security.
