Atena is a brand new property located in the hills above the area of Lia beach on the eastern side of Mykonos and renown to be one of the more natural and casual parts of the island. The elevated location of Atena inevitably provides a marvelous picture with views that stretch out over the natural colors of the island and the turquoise waters of the Aegean sea.

The evident design of a talented architect, Atena is generous in outdoor space meant to allow full enjoyment of the views be it while swimming in the free-shaped infinity pool, dining under the elegant pergola or having an evening drink around the round shaped coffee table position in the forefront of the pool terrace surrounded by a “pebble garden”.

The hand of an architect is as evident outdoors as it is indoors where the property, developed on three levels, shows keen tast for design and furnishing. The vastly pristine colors are rarely interrupted and when they are it is through the typical pastel color cimentogonia flooring, the soft colors of the minimal furnishing or the thoughtful placement of original artifacts – a modern and subtle décor that enhances the typical traits of the Cycladic structure. The entrance level of Atena is entirely dedicated to the villa’s comfortable living room and modern kitchen that spills out onto the terrace and barbeque area via French doors. Five en-suite bedrooms are split between the upper level, entirely dedicated to the master bedroom and its private balcony and the lower level where two guest bedrooms are located. Two further guest bedrooms are also located on this level yet have independent access granting privacy to their guests. An en-suite staff bedroom is included as well, also with independent access. All guest rooms feature clever design and air-conditioning solutions.

Atena is an outstanding combination of attention to detail, use of space and scenic views, all allowing it to be the perfect retreat for families or groups of friends who fancy having a good time in a modern and laid back ambience. The possibility to include Minerva, the neighboring property bearing the same features, adds the great feat of appealing to larger groups who wish to spend their time on Mykonos together.
