In fact, when it comes to prime location, Sunset is absolutely outstanding. Perched on a hill facing the sea, on the French part of the Basque coast in Bidart, you will find yourself in quiet and untouched surroundings. The beach below your holiday retreat can pride itself with the biggest break in the Basque country, with waves that reach up to 5 meters or 16 feet. The villa itself overlooks the Atlantic, with breath-taking views both inside and outside.

Everything about Sunset emanates casual elegance. The combination of traditional and contemporary pieces—collected from different place of the world give the villa a warm and inviting atmosphere without loosing the touch of luxury: most of the furniture was brought back from places like Australia and South Africa and the exquisite teak floor was even imported from Japan!

Whatever you will need to prepare a delicious gourmet dinner, you will be able to find it in the modern kitchen. And the open living area — including a fireplace for cosy evenings — opens onto the private terrace, the perfect place to watch the sun disappear in the ocean...

The master suite is particularly opulent. In the mornings you will be woken up by soft sunlight shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows; the windowed lounge oriel is the perfect place to curl up with a good book. A king-size bed builds the centre of the oversized suite, which also features an Italian shower in the generous bathroom.

The guest bedroom expands on the entire second floor and offers one double bed and two single beds. Overlooking the terrace, it is – like the rest of the villa - very open and spacious. Another bathroom, with an Italian shower and a toilet, can be found on the first floor.

The location of Sunset is the ideal base for your excursions of the Basque Country. Guéthary and its renowned restaurants is a 10-minute walk away, while Biarritz and San Jean de Luz can be reached in a few minutes drive. But with the beach right at your door, chances are you won’t want to go far from the villa!
