There are many sports and activities available in this area too, from riverside walks along the Sentier de la Brague between Valbonne and Biot - a good path that is easy to follow without a map and will take three hours end to end - to hiking, horse-riding and golf: go-karting and paintballing are to be found at Gourdon and the Canyon Forest adventure park is just down the road at Villeneuve Loubet.

For days out at the seaside head to Antibes, where you will find beaches, a pretty harbour and attractive old town; neighbouring Juan les Pins offers more nightlife, and also the famous Jazz à Juan festival at the end of July.
