“It is a contemporary design like you will see in the video. We try to focus on the geometric shapes, nice straight clean lines, just simplicity at its best,” said Designer/Builder Ian “Sugar George” Edwards. Designed and built by renowned Anguilla architectural designer Ian “Sugar George” Edwards, Beach House at Meads Bay features over 16,000 sq.ft. of simple elegance with amazing amenities, a stunning infinity pool, the latest in electronics technology, a home gym, a studio, movie theatre, and unique water features spread throughout the property.

“It’s one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean right on Meads Bay. So what I tried to do when we were doing the design is incorporate a lot of the water feel into this property. You will realize that many of the places that you walk around in this property you will see either a fountain or a waterfall. So wherever you are on this property you can either see water or hear water.”

“I went all out in terms of the home automation on this house wherever you are in the world you can actually view your house. We have about twelve cameras throughout the entire property, you can control music, lighting, everything from just the touch panel,” said Edwards.

The property also features a palm tree lined drive, tennis court, commercial laundry room, two separate guest houses, huge bathrooms in every suit featuring specular outdoor showers and views, and gracious living and entertaining areas throughout.

“When you come in you feel like you are actually on the ocean even before you step foot on the sand so when you do step foot on the sand it like another game in itself,” said Edwards. Situated in the center of the beautiful mile long stretch of Meads Bay Beach, the property features the privacy of a single family home, yet sits between two of the world’s finest resorts in either direction. “Viceroy Jaqala on one end and Malliouhana to the next. The other resorts you’re on a resort, this one is your own private home. You have your own tennis court and you own everything,” said Edwards.
