Skyridge Villa is situated in South Caicos at the end of one of the areas many peninsulas and offers a dazzling 360 degree panorama of the Atlantic Ocean and Caicos Bank, all the while softly being caressed by the Caribbean breezes. The ideal island getaway, tranquil and serene, invites relaxed “barefoot” living. Breathtaking views defy belief but can easily convince you are the only folks on the planet. And when the gentle night envelopes the stars, seemingly so close as to be able to grasp one, will charm and captivate. The private peninsula was designed as a low-density and naturally preserved environment that consists of 770 acres of unique topographies, vegetation and shorelines. Lavish living in nothing less than paradise.

Open the sliding glass foyer wall to let the outside in. Even closed, the sliding glass foyer walls create a seamless indoor-outdoor space. Enjoy morning coffee on the east terrace as the sun comes up and tropical birds serenade. The villa is framed on three sides by the concrete terrace; furnished with sun beds at either end, it opens to a verandah where there are several al fresco lounges and a lovely dining area just outside of the kitchen. The combination of dark re-purposed Brazilian barn wood furniture and cream colored sofa and arm chairs provide for a fresh clean tropical decor.

Three bedrooms (two King beds and 1 queen), all with full ensuite, all with endless views of the multi-hued Caicos Banks. Featuring large walk-in closets in all rooms. Master suite has a large shower, over-sized soaking tub and double vanity. The maximum occupancy is 6 guests in any combination of adults and children and utilizing the existing bedding.

Multiple seating areas allow for the perfect location to relax and unwind, be your wish for sun or for shade, twisting by the heated infinity pool or snoozing on the pool side loungers under the umbrella. The great room boasts Wi-Fi, a large flat screen TV along with a Sonos system and CD/DVD player. Write or compose at the bedroom/office desk, although the view may be somewhat distracting. A full equipped chef’s kitchen, with large island, provides the perfect setting for creating culinary delights which can then be enjoyed at either the great room dining table or at the large patio table in the screened porch.

Breakfast, at the resort, is included in rates. Lunch and dinner are available with the meal plan options. The full board option is approximately $150 per adult per night. The all-inclusive option is approximately $250 per adult per night and includes premium wine/liquors by the glass, house cocktails, and soft beverages. A private chef is also an option you may enjoy, at additional cost with advance notice.

Getting Here

Located forty miles southeast of Providenciales, South Caicos is a short 25-minute plane ride via daily scheduled commercial flights. Rates include air-transportation to/from Providenciales Airport (PLS)/ South Caicos Airport (XSC) and are subject to availability. *Flights depart PLS twice daily at approximately 8:30 am and 4:40 pm. Flights from XSC depart daily at approximately 9:10 am and 5:25 pm. Please provide us your arrival and departure flight details so our reservation team can coordinate the bookings and arrangements for the island hopper flights as well as the ground transfers between South Caicos Airport and the resort upon arrival and departure. Private air and boat charters are also available upon request.

This private and exclusive villa is located 1.6 miles away from the resort. Guests are provided with a compact car and are extended full access to the resort’s amazing amenities such as secluded beaches, large infinity pool, full-service spa, fitness facility, fresh market and fine dining options at the Great House Restaurant & Bar and The Cove Restaurant + Beach Bar. Enjoy complimentary non-motorized water sports activities such as snorkeling, kayaks, standup paddle boards, hobie-cat, and bicycles. Other adventures to explore (at additional cost) include ATV, airboat bone fishing charters, deep-sea fishing, fly fishing, scuba diving charters, offsite charters and tours, bicycle island tour.

South Caicos

South Caicos exists today as one of the few un-spoiled tropical destinations. Among the smaller islands in the Turks and Caicos Islands, (eight square miles), South Caicos is renowned for white powder beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, ocean-side bluffs, quiet bays and salt-water flats teeming with pink flamingoes. Cockburn Harbour town is home to most of the island’s eight hundred (800) residents. With Caribbean-inspired homes on narrow streets lined with native stonewalls, the village harkens back to a simpler time and lifestyle. The charming and authentic Caribbean atmosphere of a village imbued with hundreds of years of rich history and culture is a rare find in a resort destination.

Environment

Relatively untouched by humans, South Caicos’ reef system is considered the healthiest and most vibrant in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Over fifty (50) species of coral abound, with spotted eagle rays, sea turtles, grouper, snapper and dolphin fish all part of this spectacular reef system, making it a premier SCUBA diving and snorkeling destination. The waters surrounding South Caicos offer a diverse and spectacular background. The turquoise waters to the south and east turn to a deep cobalt blue just past the coral reef system, where the water drops from fifty (50) feet to seven thousand (7000) feet. It is here where anglers find world-class offshore sport fishing for sailfish, wahoo, mahi-mahi, marlin and yellow-fin tuna. The shallow waters of Caicos Banks to the west, is considered a haven for bone fishing.
