Pink Cottage is a luxury beachfront villa set in the grounds of a 20 acre private beachfront estate in Barbados, but you would be forgiven for thinking that you have arrived at an English country manor as you pass the stately main house Heron Bay with its soaring Palladian façade. The surrounding manicured grounds are complete with topiary, box gardens, tennis court, stream and a grand garden folly.

The shell pink coral stone exterior and the friendly staff welcomes you, and the sound of the ocean gently lapping just beyond immediately lulls you into a relaxed state of mind. As you enter the living room a skylight floods the space with natural light and pocket doors, within which a state of the art media centre is housed, open onto a dining terrace with pool and garden views. This luxury Barbados villa consists of a main building housing two en suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, while two separate annexes each contain one- bedroom suites.

Elegant interiors are dressed in shades of cool white punctuated only by tropical blooms and the stunning views outdoors across the Olympic length lap pool and a meandering lily laden stream. The leaves in the coconut grove sway seductively and the intoxicating scent of frangipani blooms and ocean breezes fill the air. A wooden gazebo complete with a bed and billowing curtains is nestled under shady trees between the beach and the pool and is cheekily referred to as the Honeymoon Suite due to its popularity with couples.

Shells are a re-occurring motif in this elegant and exclusive home and scallop reliefs can be found on the living room walls and around bathroom mirrors while oversize shell ornaments re-enforce the initial impression…..this is the quintessential luxury beach cottage.

An elegant coastal style pervades with exposed wood ceilings soaring above four poster beds, draped in luxurious linens and gauzy curtains.
