The estate has been under the ownership of the same Italian family for centuries, and it has recently been completely renovated to provide extremely comfortable, spacious accommodation for large groups. The annexes have also been refurbished and offer additional flexibility for families and/or friends travelling together. Antique furniture in keeping with the age and standing of the house is subtly blended with more modern facilities. The high level of service that you can expect to receive at this prestigious villa cannot be over-emphasised. Several experienced staff members are based on site but they are highly professional and unobtrusive, and your privacy will be respected at all times. Tenuta Val d' Elsa is ideally situated just a 20 minute drive from Siena and only 40 minutes from Florence and the nearest airport. Historical Tuscan hilltop towns such as San Gimignano, Volterra and Monteriggioni are very close by, while others such as Montalcino (known for its famous Brunello wine) would make a very enjoyable day trip.
